Simple cards for him

Simple cards for “him”. Today I’m revisiting the Adventurous Sky Bundle. If you don’t own this set yet, do take advantage of Stampin’ Up!’s current promotion (details HERE) and enjoy an extra 10% discount on the stamp+die bundle.

I used the Take to the Sky 12″x 12″ (30.5 x 30.5 cm) DSP to cover the whole of my card front.

Card details

  1. Card base is ½ an A4 sheet – in Europe this measures 5 ⅞” x 8 ¼” (14.5 cm x 21 cm). Long side score at 4 ⅛” x 5 ⅞” (10.5 x 14.5 cm)
  2. Take to the Sky 12″x 12″(30.5 x 30.5 cm) DSP : cut at 4″ x 5 ¾” (10 cm x 14 cm)
  3. Die cut 2 Basic White hexagons with the largest hexagon die from Nested Essentials dies.
  4. Stamp the largest plane from Adventurous Sky stamp set toward the right and trim off excess so that it is in line with the DSP.
  5. Attach Basic Essentials gray Bakers twine to the left and adhere to card front with dimensionals.
  6. Stamp on remaining die cut hexagon and trim bottom and right side as shown in photo.
  7. The sentiment was stamped first generation ink in Smoky Slate and the small aeroplane in second generation ink.

Inside card

  1. Basic White cut at 3 ¾” x 5 ½” (9.5 cm x 14 cm)
  2. Stamp largest cloud in second generation and third generation Smoky Slate ink
  3. Ink up smallest plane and stamp between the clouds second generation Smoky Slate ink
  4. Stamp “You’re the best plane & simple” first generation Smoky Slate as shown in photo.
  5. Select middle sized cloud and stamp second generation Smoky Slate ink underneath plane.
  6. Adhere to inside of card .
