Wreath birthday card – Magnolia Mood. I can’t remember when Magnolia Mood was added as an online exclusive. It has been on my shelf gathering dust, so I thought I’d have a play. I stamped the small magnolia image in a circle to create a wreath.
You’ll never guess what other stamp set I used to stamp the little leaf and abstract flower. It is the most unlikely pairing! ….. Cake Fancy! I needed fairly small images and couldn’t find any in my stash and stumbled upon this one and it worked perfectly! What do you think? The butterfly came from Label with Love.
The Basic White mat layer I stamped on is 5 ½” x 5 ½” (14 cm x 14 cm). I stamped the Magnolia in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink, the tiny leaf in Shaded Spruce and the abstract flower in Fresh Freesia. Then I used Shaded Spruce and Bubble Bath Stampin’ Blend combos to colour the Magnolia and leaves.
I cut out the centre and adhered this layer with dimensionals to a Bubble Bath card base 5 ¾” x 11 ½” (14.5 cm x 29 cm). Simply add the sentiment and that’s the front done!
