Birthday card with Everyday Greetings. One of the online exclusives called Season of Green & Gold Suite collection is HUGE!!! This suite collection includes gorgeous winter greenery, luscious pops of gold, and unique layers of vellum and berry gems. I don’t know about you, but I find it really difficult to get in the Christmas spirit in July.
There is a separate stamp set called Everyday Greetings which uses the same style of font as in the Greetings of the Season in the Season of Green & Gold Suite. Consequently, I’ve used this to make my card today but using the papers from suite which are absolutely stunning!
Front of card
I took my inspiration from Stampin’ Up!’s sample but changed it a little. However, the layout is the same. My card base in Very Vanilla card stock. The Very Vanilla Thick card stock has been discontinued, but if you add layers on this lighter weight card stock it will be just as sturdy as using the thick card stock anyway. The leaves were die cut from the pretty patterned papers in the Suite.
Inside card
For the inside of the card, I used the leftover patterned paper to cover the ribbon and also the inside of the card so that it would all tie in together. More die cut leaves were adhered underneath the DSP on the inside front of the card.
