Halloween online exclusive. There is a new Halloween Online exclusive and if you love Halloween and like to prep in advance, the new Halloween online exclusive called Potions & Spells might interest you. The images in the stamp set are of a cauldron, bubbles, spooky cat, a raven, stacked books on potions and spells, a large, medium and small bubble, plus 2 clusters of stars/diamonds/dots and three sentiments.
In the Potions & Spells die set, there are some extra dies. I’ve tried to incorporate into the card. They are the broom (which comes in two parts). The strange arched die is actually the potion stream being poured into the cauldron which I die cut in Granny Apple Green. There are two bottles, one long and tall, and the other with a round shape. A rectangle and semi-circle die is for the potions inside the bottle. These are the Granny Apple Green and Gorgeous Grape pieces adhered to the respective bottles.

- Card base in Gorgeous Grape : 4 ⅛” x 11 ½” (10.5 cm x 29 cm). Long side on top, score at 5 ¾” (14.5 cm)
- Basic Black mat layer #1 card front : 4″ x 5 ⅝” (10.2 cm x 14.2 cm)
- Mat layer #2 Basic White card front : 3 ⅞” x 5 ½” (9.8 cm x 13.8 cm)
- Mat layer #1 inside card in Basic Black : 3 ¾” x 5 ⅜” (9.5 cm x 13.7 cm)
- Inside card Mat layer #2 Basic White : 3 ⅝” x 5 ¼” (9.2 cm x 13.3 cm)
Other card stock required
- Economise on black c/s by die cutting the cauldron and handles from the Basic Mat layer on front of card. The fact that you’ve “stolen” some card stock, you won’t see the cavity left by the die cuts because it will be covered up the by the second mat layer in Basic White.
- Scrap of Gorgeous Grape – die cut the long tall bottle and the semi-circular shape potion.
- Granny Apple Green scrap – die cut the dripping potion, rectangle shape potion, arched pouring potion stream
- Scraps of Basic White to stamp and die cut broom, bottles, raven, books and cat. You’ll need to colour the broom handle with Dark Pecan pie stamping blends, and dark Crumb Cake for the brush end of the broom.
- Other Stampin’ Blends required – Gorgeous Grape, Granny Apple Green, Basic Black, Smoky Slate and Pumpkin Pie combos.
