Card sketch – Friends for Life

Card sketch – Friends for Life. When you’re stuck for inspiration a card sketch is a useful tool to re-ignite your creativity. In the current 2024-25 Annual Catalogue on page 22 there are several sketches provided to help you. The one I’ve chosen for today is no. 9 in the first row and uses strips of paper. It’s such a great way to use up scraps of patterned paper too good to discard.

The papers are called Full of Life 6″x 6″ (15.2 x 15.2 cm) Designer Series Paper (DSP in short) which is part of the Suite collection and just perfect. In addition, I used the Berry Burst, Old Olive & White 12″ x 12″ (30.5 x 30.5 cm) Glimmer Specialty Paper for the accent pieces against a Coastal Cabana card base.

I stuck and adhesive sheet on the back of the Berry Burst Glimmer paper and die cut the elements from the Friends of Life Dies and the “HI” from the Mini Alphabet dies.
