Birthday card – Regal Flora Bundle

Birthday card – Regal Flora Bundle. This month’s Tech 4 Stampers Blog hop theme is all about birthdays and I’ve chosen the Regal Flora Bundle which is a bundle from the Regal Suite Collection on pages 34-35 of the new September-December 2024 mini. The colour palette in the patterned papers are Cherry Cobbler, Wild Wheat, Pretty Peacock, Night of Navy, Blackberry Bliss and Berry Burst are really rich, and I could never have imagined how well they go together.

I had to add an extra stamp set for this birthday card with the Regal Flora Bundle because it didn’t have a birthday greeting.

Welcome to September’s Tech 4 Stampers Blog Hop.

The Tech 4 Stampers is a monthly subscription group run by Louise Sims. She mentors and enables members to understand IT jargon and equips them with a fountain of Technical knowledge to build or manage their own websites. It takes the mystery out of “tech” and I’ve certainly grown in confidence thanks to her expertise, patience and guidance. Not only that, I’ve met and made new friends with my fellow “Techs” and love the camaraderie within the group.

Card front

The trio of flowers on the card front is second generation stamped, but the photo doesn’t do it justice. Looks better in real life. I did have a first generation stamped and die cut one, but it didn’t work as well because if you look at the DSP, a lot of the floral images are a much paler colour which suggests that they are second generation stamped.

    • They aren’t my go to normal colours – I usually go for pastels but it does go together even though it’s outside my comfort zone.
