Corner twist and turn easel card

Corner twist and turn easel card using the Flower Cart stamp set and Flower Cart dies. These stamps and dies first appeared in the January 24 Mini catalogue but has carried over into the Annual catalogue 24-25 which you’ll find on page 76 under the Encore section.

How to create the corner twist and turn fold

  1. Card base : In UK/Ireland/Europe, our A4 is 8 ¼” x 11 ¾”. Cut it at 4 ⅛” x 11″ (10.5 cm x 28 cm)
  2. Long side on top, score at 5 ½” and 6 ⅞” (14 cm and 17.5 cm)
  3. Align top right corner in cutting groove with the bottom left corner at the 6 ⅞”(17.5 cm) and score diagonally. Burnish score line well.
  4. Cut a square same colour as card base 4 ⅛” x 4 ⅛” (10.5 x 10.5 cm)
  5. Fold back triangle and apply adhesive to this triangle and adhere the square on this top half to create the corner twist and turn card.

Cutting guide
  1. Card base : 4 ⅛” x 11″ (10.5 cm x 28 cm). Score as described above under the heading How to Create the Corner twist and turn fold.
  2. Square mat layer card front same colour as card base :4 ⅛” x 4 ⅛” (10.5 x 10.5 cm)
  3. “DSP front narrow left panel and inside narrow panel : cut 2 piece 1 ⅛” x 5 ¼” (3 cm x 13.5 cm)
  4. Cut DSP for square mat layer 3 ⅞” x 3 ⅞” (9.8 x 9.8 cm)
  5. Inside card : Pretty Peacock layer 3 ⅞” x 5 ¼” (9.8 x 13.5 cm)
  6. Basic White Mat layer #2 inside card : 3 ¾” x 5 ⅛” (9.5 cm x 13 cm)
  7. Scraps of Basic White to stamp and die cut floral elements, and stopper.
  8. Gold foil : attach adhesive sheet to back of gold foil and die cut wheels and stand.
  9. Peach Pie scrap die cut canopy
  10. Pretty Peacock scrap : die cut bunting
  11. Crumb Cake scrap : die cut cart
