Fun fold card – Iconic Imagery

Fun fold card – Iconic Imagery. I made this card so that it would be suitable as a Thanksgiving card which falls on Thursday 28 November this year. The Iconic Imagery bundle is an online exclusive which came onto the scene in September.

The picture above shows the card laid flat and the one on the right shows the faux z-fold and the inside of the card. In the picture below, the inside front shows the continuation of the Splendid Autumn DSP scene and also the inside back of the card and a view from the top in the last picture.

Cutting guide

Card base

1. Card base : Cajun Craze 11″ x 4 ⅛” (18 cm x 10.5 cm). Long side score at 2 ¼” and 5 ½” (6 cm and 14 cm)
2. Orient c/s to short side and align right edge at ⅝” (1.5 cm) to right of cutting groove and trim from 0″ down to 2 ¼” (6 cm). Repeat for left edge but this time to the left of the cutting groove.

Card Front

1. Crushed Curry Mat #1 : 2 pieces 3 ⅛” x 4″ (8 cm x 10 cm)
2. Splendid Autumn 6″x 6″ DSP Mat #2 : 2 pieces 3″x 3 ⅞” (7.5 cm x 9.5 cm)
3. Front tab Mat #1 Crushed Curry : 2 ¾” x 4 ⅛” (7 cm x 10.5 cm)
4. Basic White Mat #2 front tab : 2 ⅝” x 4″ (6.5 cm x 10 cm) emboss with Leaf Fall 3D embossing folder
5. White emboss “Celebrate” on Cajun Craze scrap and fussy cut. Adhere with dimensionals on front tab and stamp “the season” below.
6. Embellish with Pecan Pie and Clear ribboned adhesive backed dots

Inside card

1. Adhere 2nd Crushed Curry Mat #1 on the left side then the Splendid Autumn DSP piece on top.
2. Cut Crushed Curry Mat #1 for the right side cut at 4″ x 5 ⅜” (10 cm x 13.5 cm) and adhere to card base.
3. Next cut a Basic White piece 3 ⅞” x 5 ¼” (9.5 cm x 13 cm).
4. Cajun Craze cut at 2 ⅛” x 3 ⅞” (5.5 cm x 9.5 cm). Emboss with Leaf Fall 3D embossing folder and adhere to right side of Basic White layer ensuring top, bottom and right side are aligned.
5. Stamp “Grateful for you” with Cajun Craze ink and the leaves in Mossy Meadow. Stamp off for a lighter shade with the filler stamp.
