Waterfall fold card celebrating Autumn

Waterfall fold card celebrating Autumn. I love the fact that all the stamps and dies in the More than Autumn bundle can used for so many things other than Autumn, so it was just genius to name it “More than Autumn” because it IS !!! For now, I’ll stick to Autumn and I thought an interactive waterfall fold would show off those images to its best advantage!

Fun Waterfall fold card

The waterfall fold refers to the mechanism. This strip of card stock is scored and square pieces of card stock are adhered to the score lines. You thread the strip through the waterfall “anchor” and adhere it only at the anchor to allow the strip the freedom to move to the right as you pull on the tab. As it “cascades” it reveals each square, hence the name “waterfall”.

This is the front of the card when closed and its first image is a cup of delicious cream topped pumpkin spiced latte.

By pulling on the tab, the first picture is revealed – pumpkins and cinnamon sticks. The second displays pumpkin flavour iced donuts.

The fourth image is a slice of pumpkin pie. The tab is now fully extended to reveal the hidden message that “nothing’s better than pumpkin spice”. There are dies in the More than Autumn die set which cut out this phrase and words.

In the last picture, I used blending brushes to add a bit of Crushed Curry colour as a background. The greeting is from Choose Happy stamp set.
