I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and a wonderful Boxing Day too. Now that all the excitement is over, we have Sale-a-bration to look forward to in the New Year. Dance with me is a stamp set you can earn FREE with a £55 spend.
Sale-a-bration
What is Sale-a-bration? Sale-a-bration is an annual event and during Sale-a-bration you can earn free products from Stampin’ Up!’s Sale-a-bration brochure during its promotion period from 7 January – 28 February 2025. For every £55 or multiples of £55 eg £110 and so on, you can choose from a variety of products. There are several choices e.g., a stamp set, embellishments or pretty papers. For a £110 spend, you can choose either the Heart Shaped bundle or the lovely Corner in Bloom stamp set.
Dance with Me
One of the stamp sets you can choose is Dance with me subject to a qualifying purchase of £55 (excluding shipping) which you can get FREE. I don’t think I’ve ever seen these line drawings from Stampin’ Up! before. What’s more it depicts couples who are more senior in years. Strictly Come Dancing, one of BBC’s flagship entertainment program has just finished this 2024 season and it seemed appropriate to stamp, mask, blend and bring a spotlight to this couple for an anniversary card.
Instructions
- Card base Basic Beige: 5 ¾” x 8 ¼” (14.5 cm x 21 cm) folded in half
- Storybook Moments 12″ x 12″ Specialthy DSP : 4″ x 5 ⅜” (10 cm x 14 cm). Adhere to card front leaving an even border on all 4 sides.
- Apply adhesive sheets to back of Basic Beige c/s and Basic White c/s. Die cut 1 x Basic White and 2 x Basic Beige picture frames.
- Stamp on the inside of die cut Basic White in Tuxedo Black Memento ink.
- Mask so that you can use blending brush to spotlight the couple with Lemon Lolly ink.
- Adhere to card front off centre toward the top left with frame.
- Remove and reserve Basic Beige picture frame centres for another project and adhere picture frames stacked on top of one another and then onto the white picture frame to add depth.
- Stamp sentiment from Everyday Greetings (online exclusive) in Mossy Meadow and adhere with dimensionals in bottom right corner.
Inside card
- Basic White : 3 ¾” x 5 ⅜” (9.5 cm x 13.5 cm)
- Stamp the string of lights in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink, music notes, hearts, and twinkling stars.
- Colour in the fairy lights in a variety of subtles Stampin’ Write Markers.
