Rainbow Celebration kit – altered cards

Rainbow Celebration kit – altered cards. Believe it or not, the kit is also on offer as a freebie during Sale-a-bration. I used the kit in conjunction with the Birthday Celebrations Bundle to make some alternative cards and to stretch supplies.

Kit card designs

There are materials in the kit to make 6 cards, 2 each of 3 designs.

Basic White Alternative card 1

I think I may have gone overboard with the stamping for the inside of the card. You can cut the front of the semi-circular card in half. Then cut the half into a quarter to adhere to a standard Basic White Thick card blank.

Do the same for the back of the card and adhere and stamp as shown and make another with the remaining pieces which will be a mirror image of the one below.

Melon Mambo card base Alternative 2

Here’s another idea by simply switching colour card bases. I split the supplies for the one card to share between the two cards.

By purchasing the Birthday Celebrations bundle and adding paper/ink etc to make it up to £55 you can earn this kit for free during Sale-a-bration. I stamped and fussy cut “make a wish” to adhere to the front of the card.

The back portion of the kit card is Coastal Cabana, and I used that to die cut a banner and tassels and “rope” for the two cards.

Alternative Card 3 – other half of Melon Mambo

In this card you can see what I mean about a “mirror” image and how I used the other half of the cloud and sentiment.

I stamped directly on the banner with Melon Mambo and Coastal Cabana ink and added a trio of tassels for the inside.

Stampin’ Up! has a new Reward System beginning early April 2025. Customers now must have an online account and need to opt in to earn 10% of their qualifying commissionable product purchases to redeem as Stampin’ Rewards on future orders. A qualifying purchase must meet the minimum threshold requirement on commissionable products. Be aware that Stampin’ Rewards have an expiration date. They need not be redeemed all at once. Stampin’ Up!’s system tracks them and the rewards expiring first will be used first when redeemed. You can check the Rewards Dashboard to help you keep track of Rewards Expiration Date Information. Please note the new Stampin’ Reward System cannot use Rewards toward the purchase of a Starter Kit as the Starter Kit has non-commissionable items in it. The Host Code will become obsolete.
