Wishing you a Happy Easter

Wishing you a Happy Easter. How do you celebrate Easter? Do you have young children or grandchildren and mark the day with an Easter Egg hunt? Sadly mine have reached adult hood or are teenagers so it doesn’t have the same anticipation for the Easter Bunny to arrive apart from the religious aspect.

Here’s my last hurrah with the Storybook Friends. With the new Annual Catalogue coming soon, I do hope this set will carry over or be available as an online product.

How to make the card

This is such an easy card because those pop-out pre-cuts from the gorgeous Storybook Moments Specialty paper pack are the bees knees! Here goes!

1. Basic White Thick card base : 5 ¾” x 8 ¼” (14.5 cm x 21 cm) and folded in half.
2. Petal Pink mat layers cut 2 pieces : 3 ⅞” x 5 ½” (9.8 cm x 14 cm). Adhere one to card front and the other for the inside of the card.
3. Basic White layers cut 2 pieces : 3 ¾” x 5 ⅜” (9.5 cm x 13.7 cm). Stamp one of the pieces with Elements of Text Online exclusive and adhere to card front. Adhere remaining Basic White piece inside card.
4. Select a pop out element to adhere in bottom right corner on the inside of the card.
5. Die cut the oval frame from Storybook Friends dies and adhere over text in the middle.
6. Adhere the Shepherdess to right of frame with dimensionals.

Prepare die cuts

1. Scrap of Soft Sea Foam and Old Olive to die cut leaves from Thoughtful Wishes Dies. The large sprig with Soft Sea Foam, and the trio of leaves in Old Olive.
2. Petal Pink scrap to die cut flowers from the Hibiscus Hybrid Embossing Folder dies
3. Stamp greeting on Basic White scrap and die cut with Mixed Labels Dies and set aside.
4. Cut leaf sprig in half and trim as desired. Arrange leaves and adhere on top of frame as pictured.
5. Arrange and adhere flowers, attach Adhesive-backed Textured Dots on the centre of each flower.
6. Adhere label with dimensionals as pictured.
7. Adhere Brass Butterflies as shown in picture.
