Father’s Day card

Father’s Day Card. Father’s Day is coming soon, and I forgot so I had to do a quick re-shuffle of my schedule! Today’s Father’s Day card is quick and easy.

The online exclusive stamp sets I used are He’s the Greatest and She’s the Greatest, and the Sentimental Framing bundle. Papers and card stock I used are the new Boho Vibes 6″x 6″ (15.2 x 15.2 cm) DSP from the Boho Vibes Suite Collection.

Cutting guide

1. Card base : Secret Sea cut at 8 ¼” x 5 ¾” (21 cm x 14.5 cm) and folded in half.
2. Mat layers #1 front and inside : 2 pieces Cloud Cover cut at 5 ½” x 3 ⅞” (14 cm x 9.8 cm)
3. Front mat layer #2 Boho Vibes DSP – 1 piece cut at 5 ⅜” x 3 ¾” (13.7 cm x 9.5 cm)
4. Inside mat layer #2 Basic White : 1 piece cut at 5 ⅜” x 3 ¾” (13.7 cm x 9.5 cm)
5. DSP Boho Vibes inside card : 1 piece 3 ¾” x ½” (9.5 cm x 1.3 cm)
6. Scrap of Basic White to die cut label with Sentimental Framing dies

Assembling card

Card front

1. Adhere Cloud Cover mat layer#1 to front of Secret Sea card base.
2. Next Adhere Boho Vibes DSP mat layer #2 leaving an even border all round.
3. Stamp sentiment from She’s the Greatest and He’s the Greatest in Secret Sea ink on the Sentimental Framing die.
4. Use a blending brush to add colour to the edges of frame with Cloud Cover Stampin’ Spot.
5. Adhere to card front toward the bottom

Inside card

1. Adhere remaining Cloud Cover mat layer #1 to inside card.
2. Take the Boho Vibes DSP strip and adhere vertically in top left corner on Basic White layer.
3. Stamp sentiment from Sentimental Framing in Secret Sea ink.
4. Use Cloud Cover stampin’ spot to stamp Happy Father’s Day from She’s the Greatest and He’s the Greatest stamp sets.
