No glue folder for note-cards

No glue folder for note-cards. The folder is an ideal way to store note-cards. The folder is made from a single sheet of 12″x 12″ (30.5 x 30.5 cm) of pretty paper. Stampin’ Up!’s Designer Series Paper packs are ideal because the papers are double sided so they have a printed pattern on both sides.

Note-cards & Envelopes

There are simple note-cards to go in the folder using the “With You in Mind” stamp set. The stamp set has 4 greetings which were designed to fit into a 2 ⅜” punched circle. However, I’ve simply stamped mine on Basic White Assorted Memories & More Cards & Envelopes. These come in a pack of 20 pre-cut and scored cards, 10 small cut at 3″x 4″ (7.6 x 10.2 cm) and 10 large cut at 4″x 6″ (10.2 x 15.2 cm) with envelops to match.

How to make Folder

  • Score one side at 1 ¾” and 5 ¾” (4 cm and 14.5 cm). Rotate 180 degrees and score opposite side also at 1 ¾” and 5 ¾” (4 cm and 14.5 cm).
  • Rotate paper a quarter turn at 90 degrees and score at  2 ½” and 8 ¼” (6.5 cm and 21 cm). Burnish all score lines.
  • Picture on left – turn all 4 corners in to meet 1 ¾” (4 cm) score line on both sides as pictured.
  • Right side picture – fold both sides in along 1 ¾” (4 cm) score line on both sides as pictured.
  • Flip paper over to reverse side with wider panel at the bottom and fold up as shown in picture on the left.
  • Then fold narrow panel down and tuck into the bottom panel on both sides as shown in middle picture.
  • Fold along spine to form booklet as depicted in the picture on the right.

How to attach ribbon and labels

  • Picture on left, place ribbon across middle of folder and attach foam strip on either side of ribbon to form a track as pictured. Also apply foam strip on back of label.
  • Middle picture, remove backing tape and attach label on top to seal track. Stamp front of second label and apply foam strip on the back before attaching to front of no glue folder as pictured. “For You” is from the Tags of Thanks stamp set.
  • Last picture on right, fold on the two 5 ¾” score lines to form folder, insert notecards and tie bow and attach Fine Sparkle adhesive-backed gems as pictured.

Note cards and envelops

  • Simple stamping using the 4 greetings on 4 note cards with Strawberry Slush, Peach Pie, Shy Shamrock classic ink pads and Cloud Cover Stampin’ spot.
  • Stamp corresponding elements in the bottom left corner of envelop for each card.

This no glue folder with coordinating note-cards would make ideal Teachers’ gifts for the end of term. They’re so easy to make that the children could make it for their teacher themselves for that personal touch. Thanks for visiting. Happy crafting!
