Framed Halloween card – welcome to week 3 of my 6 week Halloween Countdown Series. Here’s another quick, easy Halloween card. This is the third piece from the Spooky Halloween DSP sheet and I stamped the little cat wearing the witch hat and die cut it from the Spooky Halloween Dies. I also featured some of the extra dies like the house and pair of bats.

Cutting guide
Card base and front
- Card base Basic Black : 5 ¾” x 8 ¼” (14.5 cm x 21 cm) folded in half.
- Spooky Sweet DSP : 5 ¼” x 3 ¾” (13.5 cm x 9.5 cm).
- On scrap of Basic White, stamp cat in Tuxedo Black Memento ink. Colour with Smoky Slate, Pumpkin Pie, Petal Pink Stampin’ Blends. Use a Stampin’ Blends Colour lifter for the inside of the ears and nose. Die cut with corresponding Spooky Halloween Die. Apply dimensionals on the back and adhere in centre of frame.
- Stamp Halloween (omitting Happy by masking) at the top of DSP and the crosses randomly at the top and “don’t worry, eat sweets” at the bottom. Adhere to front of card base leaving an even border all 4 sides.
Inside card
- Basic White layer : 5 ½” x 3 ⅞” (14 cm x 9.8 cm).
- Die cut house and bats from a scrap of Basic Black card stock.
- Position house in bottom left corner of Basic White layer. Trace round doors and windows and the silhouette of the house with a pencil. Use Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends to colour the doors and windows keeping within the silhouette of the house. Erase pencil lines if you wish, but it’s not essential as it will be hidden once you adhere house on top.
- Apply adhesive to back of house, align with windows and doors and adhere to bottom right corner as shown.
- Adhere bats in top right corner.
- Stamp Happy Halloween as shown in photo to complete card.
