Spooky Sweet Halloween card

Spooky Sweet Halloween card – welcome to week 2 in my 6 week Halloween Countdown Series.

This is a really quick and easy card. Continuing with the Spooky Sweet Specialty Designer Series Papers using the second card front cut from one of the sheets. I adhered the pre-cut Rhino in the doorway and used the “EEK” die from Fright Night Dies for my sentiment on the front of the card.

Cutting guide

Card base and card front

1. Card base Basic Black : 5 ¾” x 8 ¼” (14.5 cm x 21 cm) and folded in half
2. Daffodil Delight layer front of card : 5 ⅜” x 3 ¾” (13.7 cm x 9.5 cm).
3. Spooky Sweet DSP : 5 ¼” x 3 ⅝” (13.3 cm x 9.2 cm)
4. Pre-cut Rhino from Spooky Sweet DSP
5. Adhere foam sheet to back of scrap of Basic Black to fit “EEK!” die from Fright Night dies and die cut. Optional : Use Basic Black Stampin’ Write marker to blacken the white sides of the foam sheet word contour.

Inside card

1. Daffodil Delight layer : 5 ⅜” x 3 ¾” (13.7 cm x 9.5 cm).
2. Basic White layer : 5 ¼” x 3 ⅝” (13.3 cm x 9.2 cm)

Assembly

Card front

1. Adhere one Daffodil Delight layer to front of card and the other to the inside of the card leaving an even border on all 4 sides.
2. Spooky Sweet DSP layer, adhere on top of Daffodil Delight layer leaving an even border on all 4 sides.
3. Remove backing from die cut “EEK!” word and adhere toward top left as pictured.
4. Apply adhesive to pre-cut Rhino and adhere in front of doorway as shown.

Inside card

1. On Basic White piece, adhere 3 pre-cut candy corns in the bottom left corner.
2. Stamp “spooky” and pumpking in Tuxedo Black Memento ink as shown. Colour in Pumpkin with Pumpkin Pie Stampin’ Blends.
3. Mask “spooky” and ink up Happy Halloween stamp but only stamp Halloween below Spooky as shown.
4. Stamp bats in top right corner and the cluster of crosses in Pumpkin Pie as shown in picture.
5. Adhere stamped Basic White layer on top of Daffodil Delight layer leaving an even border on all 4 sides to finish.
