Christmas words hybrid embossing folder. It’s exactly as described. Welcome to week 9 of 12 in my Christmas Countdown Series. This will probably be my last card as I turn my attention to gift packaging and other Christmas type projects.

I wanted to introduce you to the Christmas words hybrid embossing folder. It has a plethora of Christmas words which look amazing when embossed with foil paper and the die that nestles into the embossing folder embosses and cuts the words out as well.

Cutting guide

  1. Card base landscape Basic White Thick : 4 ⅛” x 11 ½” (10.5 cm x 29 cm)
  2. DSP Traditions of Christmas 12″ x 12″ (30.5 x 30.5 cm) cut at 3 ⅞” x 5 ½” (9.8 cm x 14 cm).
  3. Stylish Shapes 2nd larges circle cut in Basic White.
  4. Inside card Basic White layer : 3 ⅞” x 5 ½” (9.8 cm x 14 cm).
  5. DSP strip same as card front : ½” x 3 ⅞” (1.3 cm x 9.8 cm)
  6. Gold foil 6″x 6″ die cut all the words from Christmas Words Hybrid embossing folder

Assembly

Card front
  1. Adhere DSP to card front leaving an even border on all 4 sides.
  2. Centre Basic White circle on card front as a guide to see where to stamp. Stamp in Versamark either side of circle and gold emboss with Metallics Wow! embossing powder and heat set.
  3. Gold emboss circle with greeting from Joyful Tidings. Add Iridescent foil dots.
  4. Adhere on top of DSP in the centre flanked by the gold embossed wreath.
Inside card
  1. Adhere strip of DSP on left of Basic White card layer and adhere to inside of card leaving an even border on all 4 sides.
  2. Select your choice of die cut gold foil words and adhere to inside of card as shown.
