November online exclusives. So much is happening with the run up to Thanksgiving, Christmas, moving house and having to plan ahead for all eventualities. Our move was delayed and I wasn’t sure when we’d have internet installed at our new home. At time of writing we’d just missed our exchange date which was delayed till 22 October and we are hoping to complete and move on 5 November. Hence doing this in early October!

All the online exclusives are available online to customers Wef 4th November, 2025. I’ve chosen the Hobby Haven Suite Collection to showcase because the Brushed with Beauty Suite Collection wasn’t available to pre-order at the time.

Hobby Haven Suite Collection

The Hobby Haven Suite Collection has everything you need to create personalised cards, gift tags, and packaging. The dies provide easy tags and labels, while the sentiment stamps deliver perfect heartfelt greetings. The paper’s hobby-inspired images—from cosy scenes of reading and baking to charming illustrations of house plants and sewing to help you create meaningful designs for every recipient. Simply add ink, card stock, and adhesive to complete your projects.

Pocket Slider Card

I made two slider cards, one with circles using the pre-cut elements in the Designer Series Paper pack and the other with the stamped image from Creative Haven stamp set. Construction for both cards is the same. Just switch how to decorate the slider element. In this post, I’ve covered the one I made with the pre-cut element.

Cutting guide

1. Coastal Cabana pocket slider card base : 5 ¾” x 8 ½” (14.5 cm x 23 cm).
2. Card insert for pocket Very Vanilla : 3 ¾” x 5 ¼” (9.5 cm x 13.5 cm)
3. DSP – Hobby Haven Specialty DSP 3 ¾” x 5 ½” 9.5 cm x 14 cm)
4. Slider mechanism Coastal Cabana ¾” x 3″ (2 cm x 7.5 cm)
5. Scraps of Coastal Cabana to punch out circles or use Stylish Shapes circle dies.
6. Gold foil for die cutting leaves.

Assembly

Pocket template

1. Take the pocket slider card base and with the long side on top, score at 4″ and 8″ (10.5 cm and 21 cm).
2. Adhere Hobby Haven Specialty DSP to panel next to narrow scoreline as pictured.
3. Insert in trimmer and align at 1 ½” (3.8 cm) to right of cutting groove. Cut from 1″ down to 4 ¾” (2.5 cm down to 12 cm)
4. Use 1″ circle punch or Stylish Shapes circle die to cut finger hole as pictured.
5. Insert slider mechanism through the slot at the bottom leave ¾” (2 cm) jutting out.

Prepare card insert and Slider ephemera

1. Stamp greeting in the top third of card insert.
2. Optional – adhere a ¾” (2 cm) Coastal Cabana strip to strengthen top as pictured and die cut hole with Creative Haven die for ribbon. Flip over to reverse side and trim off excess. Use Creative Haven die to die cut aperture for ribbon.
3. Punch 1 Very Vanilla Circle with 2″ circle punch, and 1 Very Vanilla Circle with 1 ½” circle punch then stamp smaller circle with greeting in Basic Beige ink and stars in Coastal Cabana ink. Select one of the pre-cut images from DSP to adhere to larger Very Vanilla circle as pictured.
4. Also punch Coastal Cabana circles 1 with 2 ⅜” circle punch and 2 with 1 ¾” circle punch. Adhere the circle with the pre-cut image on the larger Coastal Cabana circle, and the sentiment on the smaller Coastal Cabana circle.

Applying adhesive

1. Put a dimensional on ¾” (2 cm) exposed sliding mechanism as in middle picture above.
2. Apply adhesive to the narrow panel as pictured above.
3. Flip pocket card over, ensure the slider mechanism is straight and apply tear n’ tape as shown in picture on the right above.

Attaching pocket card insert

1. Flip pocket template over to reverse side. Ensure the slider mechanism is straight and attach the Very Vanilla card insert face down. Ensure it is aligned with the bottom edge and is equi-distant on both sides.
2. Remove backing on flap and fold over. Seal pocket by closing the panel on the right on top of narrow panel on left.
3. Thread ribbon through the pocket insert card and tie with Old Olive linen thread.

Attaching the circles to slider mechanism

1. Adhere the larger Coastal Cabana circle on the dimensional on slider mechanism.
2. Sandwich the gold foil leaves between the two smaller Coastal Cabana circles ensuring that when the card insert is fully extended that the leaf does not obscure the greeting on the card insert in the pocket.
3. Once you’ve established the best postion, adhere a corner of the smaller circle to the larger one as pictured.
