Gift tag ideas

Gift tag ideas. I went through my stash to see which stamp sets had “to and from” sentiments and found four which would be suitable which you could mix and match. These are the Traditional Labels bundle on page 22 of the September-December 2025 mini, Magic & Hope also in the mini on page 59, Festive Friends bundle an online exclusive released in September 2025 and Ornamental Christmas bundle another online exclusive released in November 2025.

Traditional Labels, Magic & Hope and Ornamental Christmas

1. Scraps of Real Red and Soft Sea foam card stock. Die cut one each with Traditional Labels dies.
2. Die cut 2 banners in Basic White and stamp “To and From” in Real Red and Garden Green ink then set aside.
3. Stamp pines in Garden Green and the bow in Real Red from Magic & Hope stamp set. Fussy cut.
4. Find centre of Real Red label and punch hole. Apply dimensionals on back of pine piece, adhere bow to pine piece and attach to gift tag. Lastly add banner stamped in Real Red.
5. Next stamp the pine tree from Ornamental Christmas in Soft Sea Foam on Soft Sea Foam label.
6. Adhere Garden Green stamped banner to Soft Sea Foam label and add a trio Basic Rhinestone jewels.
7. Cut a length of Bakers Twine and Early Espresso & Old Olive Linen thread pack and thread through holes to complete gift tags.

Ornamental Christmas Bundle and Festive Friends

1. Die cut 2 circles in Basic White from the Ornamental Christmas Dies.
2. Stamp “To and From” in Garden Green from Festive Friends on one of the circles, and Real Red for the other circle.
3. On a scrap of Basic White, stamp the tree in Garden Green from Ornamental Christmas then die cut with coordinating die.
4. Use Soft Sea Foam Stampin’ Write marker pen to colour in tree and Real Red marker pen to colour the flower pot for the tree.
5. Stack tree and circle together and punch hole through both layers. Thread Garden Green Chevron ribbon through and secure with a Old Olive linen thread as pictured.
6. Next die cut 2 ornaments in Real Red from Ornamental Dies. Die cut the holes with the Ornamental die on one of the Real Red Ornamental piece and cut a strip of Gold Foil to adhere to back. Then adhere remaining ornament sandwiching the gold foil piece in between.
7. Lastly stack ornament and circle together at the top and punch a hole then thread Bakers twine through to complete tag.

Magic & Hope and Festive Friends dies

1. Die cut 3 labels in Basic White and 1 label in Pool Party from Festive Friends dies.
2. Use star die from Festive friends to die cut star cluster in bottom right corner as pictured on left.
3. Stamp detail in Pool Party at the top and “to and from” from Magic & Hope stamps.
4. Apply dimensionals on back of white label and adhere slightly off centre to Pool Party Label.
5. Thread linen thread through to finish.
6. For the remaining two labels, stamp as shown and thread Bakers twine through to finish. Inks used are Mossy Meadow for the pines, Daffodil Delight for the bells, Real Red for the bow.
