Milk Carton box table favour. This is the final episode of my 12 week Countdown to Christmas Series.

I discovered these little boxes of chocolate which had a surprise toy inside that you have to assemble yourself, but the boxes were blue. As I don’t have a blue table cloth, but only a green one for Christmas, then green packaging it was! However, I did include one made in blue to match the box of chocolate with products from the Peaceful Garden Suite Collection.

These milk cartons are so easy to assemble. How I construct bespoke packaging is to measure the item and allow extra for the top so that you can tie a bow around it with ease. Having a bull dog clip acts as an extra pair of hands to keep the top closed while you tie the ribbon!

Cutting guide

1. Cut DSP 9 ½” x 7″ (24 cm x 18 cm)
2. Long side score at 2 ¼”, 4 ½”, 6 ¾”, 9″ (5.7, 11.4, 17.1, 22.9 cm)
3. Short side score at 2 ¼” (5.7 cm)

Assembly

1. Burnish all score lines.
2. Orient paper so that the shorter panel is facing you and cut up to the score line to create the 4 tabs for bottom of box.
3. Cut away and discard the small rectangle on the right.
4. Apply adhesive to the upper portion above that rectangle to create tab for joining box together.
5. Adhere flaps of base, leaving the one at the front to adhere last.
6. Pinch sides of box and use a bulldog clip to keep top closed while you tie ribbon.

Finishing touches

1. Die cut double banner in Basic White card stock from Traditional Labels dies. This is for writing guest name on at the table setting.
2. Gold Glimmer Paper : die cut a snowflake from the Festive Friends dies an adhere directly to banner as pictured.
3. Silver Glimmer Paper : die cut dove from Peace on Earth dies and adhere directly to banner on the blue milk carton.
4. Apply dimensional to back of banner and adhere to front of respective table favours to finish.
