Sour Cream treat pouch

Sour cream treat pouch. The sour cream treat pouch is an old favourite and I re-visit it from time to time because it is so easy and such an effective way to package a little treat. The Love Notes 6″x 6″ (15.2 x 15.2 cm) designer series papers have featured in all of my valentine projects this year because I was being budget conscious. That’s a good thing, right? Especially in today’s economic climate!

How to make it

  • Start off with a 6″x 6″ (15.2 x 15.2 cm) sheet of paper and curl it to break up fibres. Attach tear-n-tape on 3 sides.
  • Join one side together so it resembles a tube (as in picture on the right)
  • Pinch one end together so that the same is more or less in the middle (picture on left above).
  • Insert your treats and pinch opposite end as pictured in the photo on the right to seal it.
  • Punch a hole in the centre with one of the trio of “hole assortment punches” and thread ribbon through.
  • Trim a label from Love Notes DSP and punch a small round hole in centre and thread Real Red & White Bakers Twine through hole and tie it to bow.
  • You can write on the reverse side of the label to address recipient and say who it’s from.
