How are you all? It hasn’t been the most auspicious start to 2021. A new variant of COVID has been spreading not in a gradual arc but almost in a straight line so on 4th January our PM announced that UK is under another national lock down until February. At least Oxford’s Astra zenica vaccine is now available and one can only hope it will be effective even with the new variant.
What helps to keep depression at bay is learning something new. Hello “gilding”! A pot of this divine Gilded Leafing Embellishment goes a long way. It has a habit of expanding, like a bottomless pot!
I experimented with different ways to apply the gold leaf. In this card I used a masking technique on some die cut shapes. My set of stitched triangle dies came back into play! I even die cut a word, which got the same treatment too.
