I’m so excited! Week 7 – just over half way through my Countdown to Christmas series and it’s time to think about making an Advent Calendar! This year, I’ve used the Santa’s bags. I’ve worked out how I can transfer the lettering onto the bag by using the Stamparatus and a silicone mat to execute mirror image stamping!
Many years ago, I did something similar, but couldn’t figure out how to switch the words round the right way – you can see my first attempt and the blooper I made HERE way back in 2013!!! So here’s the updated improved version!
We have some In-Colour 2018-2020 Embossing powders which sparked off the idea to use them on the cotton bags but this time embossing the words as well. It worked!
I’ve incorporated several stamp sets including the new Snow is Glistening and Happiness Surround stamp sets .available only in the month of November while stocks last. See if you can spot them in my Advent Calendar!
You don’t have to use as many stamp sets as I did – a stamp set with numerals and anything divisible into 24 – so you can either use 4 stamp sets and make 6 of each for some variety, or 6 stamp sets and make 4 of each and so on.
