Here’s how to make easy cards with Hybrid Embossing folder. It’s called the Merriest Frames Hybrid Embossing folder on page 43. You can switch around the sentiments from another stamp set and hey presto the card is done!
This new Merriest Frames Hybrid Embossing folder includes the dies. Stampin’ Up! created this hybrid embossing folder so you could emboss and die cut the embossed image at the same time. Only the larger outline die in the set works this way.
I dabbed the embossed raised areas in a Whisper White Craft Ink pad to accentuate the embossed areas. Being mindful of postage costs, I adhered this directly on to the card base. The stitched rectangle was adhered directly to the floral outline as was the larger poppy. I raised the smaller flower on dimensionals and added a gem. The centres of the poppies were filled in with shimmery crystal effects.

In this sample the outline of the leaves was cut in Just Jade, but I switched the colours in the video tutorial.

The other large die has more intricate details and you’ll have to die cut it as you would normally then emboss it afterwards in two separate steps.
Without further ado, press play.

Stampin’ Up! has a new Reward System beginning early April 2025. Customers now must have an online account and need to opt in to earn 10% of their qualifying commissionable product purchases to redeem as Stampin’ Rewards on future orders. A qualifying purchase must meet the minimum threshold requirement on commissionable products. Be aware that Stampin’ Rewards have an expiration date. They need not be redeemed all at once. Stampin’ Up!’s system tracks them and the rewards expiring first will be used first when redeemed. You can check the Rewards Dashboard to help you keep track of Rewards Expiration Date Information. Please note the new Stampin’ Reward System cannot use Rewards toward the purchase of a Starter Kit as the Starter Kit has non-commissionable items in it. The Host Code will become obsolete.
