Christmas card – Countless trees

My first christmas card with Countless trees! Happy Sunday! I swore I wouldn’t make a Christmas card this early in the year, but I couldn’t help it because one of the stamps in the Countless Trees stamp set was so obviously a Christmas tree, it couldn’t be anything else!

If you’re looking for a quick easy card to do that still looks like a million bucks but with minimal effort, here it is!…. unless of course, you hate fussy cutting! Wish there was a die for this, but cutting 3 sides to this tree is a cinch! Stamp a whole bunch and sit in front of the TV and cut away!

I love the new Whimsical Woodland 3D embossing folder. Cut the Basic White layer for embossing 1/8″ or 0.5 cm smaller than the mat layer and you’re good to go. My standard mat layer is 3-3/4″ x 5-1/2″ (9.5 cm x 14 cm).

The trees were stamped in Shaded Spruce, Pear Pizzazz and Mint Macaron. You can vary your mat layers in the 3 different shades too for a bit of variety.

I added Iridescent pearls to the tops of the trees, you can omit these or add a sequin instead, but if you’re keeping an eye on the cost of postage, stamp a teeny weeny star from the Trimming the Tree stamp set or the Snowman magical stamp set.
