A long slim card using the Cottage Wreaths bundle. This bundle is from the Gingham Cottage Suite on pages 58-59 in the July-December 2022 mini. There are some interesting items in this collection. You have the usual stamps and dies, patterned papers, but this one also has silver-threaded twine and a pack of three 1 oz (28 g) bottles in 3 colours of Pearlized Enamel Effects Basics.
Something which I haven’t worked with before are the Pearlised enamel effects basics. It’s a pearlescent lacquer. The bottle has a fine tip so that you can use it to outline stamped images, create dots in various sizes or even to draw stars and hearts. A word of caution, if used on ink, it may smear and it requires a generous amount of drying time so that it will harden and set.
I took my inspiration from the Sample in the mini catalogue but tweeked it to make it my own. The Gingham Cottage Designer Series paper pack is huge! There are 48 sheets in the pack – 4 sheets each of 12 double sided designs and the gingham patterns are large on one side and smaller on the reverse. They also come in a variety of seasonal colours suitable for spring, autumn (thanksgiving, halloween) and of course, Christmas! Even the Cottage Wreaths stamp encompasses the different times of year so you can use it all year round!

- Card base : Smoky Slate 7″ x 8-1/2″ (18 cm x 22 cm)
- Mat layer 1 for both card front and inside card : 2 pieces Blushing Bride 3-1/4″ x 8-1/4″ (8 cm x 21 cm)
- Mat layer 2 front of card : Gingham Cottage DSP 3-1/8″ x 8-1/8″ (7.5 cm x 20.5 cm)
- Mat layer 2 inside of card : Basic White 3-1/8″ x 8-1/8″ (7.5 cm x 20.5 cm)
