Masculine card with Rhino Ready

I am continuing with Rhino Ready to make another masculine card. I added the Alphabest photopolymer stamp set to stamp “dad” then fussy cut these out so that they would fit on the edge of the Radiating Stitches frame. By the way, there is a coordinating punch with the Alphabest photopolymer stamp set but I didn’t use it on this occasion.

Radiating Stitches is also an Online Exclusive set of dies so you won’t find it in any of the catalogues.

Conserving card stock

Here’s a top tip. I cut the tree canopy and ground cover pieces from the middle of the die cut Old Olive Radiating Stitches largest frame piece. You won’t see the holes in the middle of the card stock because it would be covered up by the smaller Basic White Radiating Stitches frame.

I also die cut the Monstera leaves from the Mat Layer for the inside of the card.

Cutting guide

Card front

  1. Card base Basic White Thick : 5 ⅞” x 8 ¼” (14.5 cm x 21 cm).
  2. Cut largest Radiating Stitches die with a ¼ A4 sheet of Old Olive
  3. Basic White – cut the next die down from the largest Radiating Stitches die. You need this first to ensure it will cover up the holes.
  4. Next die cut large and small tree canopy and large and small ground cover from inside the Old Olive Large Radiating Stitches frame.
  5. Pecan Pie card stock – die cut the large and small tree trunk
  6. Scrap of Basic White for stamping Rhino, grass and letters.

Inside card

  1. Mat layer Old Olive – 5 ⅝” x 3 ⅞” (14 cm x 10 cm)
  2. Cut the Monstera leaves from the middle of the Old Olive mat layer.
  3. Basic White mat layer – 5 ½” x 3 ¾” (13.5 cm x 9.5 cm)
