Hi! Happy Sunday! Inspiring Delightful Doily Hybrid ideas for another card this time using the dies as well. In today’s card, it illustrates how the dies work with the hybrid embossing folder. The dies are designed to nestle into the embossing folder so that it can emboss and die cut at the same time.
How to use the Delightful Doily Hybrid Embossing Folder
Use the outline doily die to cut the white doily. The outline doily die nestles into the hybrid embossing folder on the logo side. Place your card stock on top and shut the other half of the embossing folder then run it through the die cutting machine using platform 1 and the grey platform 4 with the embossing folder sandwiched in between.
The same applies for the smaller Bubble Bath doily in the middle.
Floral details
- The large and small flower were stamped in Bubble Bath ink. I used a sponge dauber to add “highlights” in Melon Mambo ink.
- I stamped the leaves in Lemon Lime Twist and used a sponge dauber to add “highlights” in Granny Apple Green ink.
- Flower centres and greeting stamped in Melon Mambo
- Fussy cut the greeting and adhere with dimensionals.
- Die cut 2 sprig of leaves in Granny Apple Green. Separate the large frond into smaller pieces and arrange around flowers.

Card front
- Card base : Half an A4 sheet Basic White Thick, folded in half
- Front layer : ¼ of A4 sheet in Bubble Bath
- Scrap of Basic White to die cut doily
- Bubble Bath scrap to die cut smallest doily
Inside card
- Cut a Bubble Bath mat layer 3 ¾” x 5 ½” (9.5 cm x 14 cm)
- Basic White mat layer 3 ⅝” x 5 ⅜” (9 cm x 13.5 cm)
