Quick easy card with Country Flowers

Quick easy card with Country Flowers. I’ve also used the Spotlight on Nature Dies which coordinates with a stamp set called Spotlight on Nature. You can purchase both as a bundle and save 10 % or separately.

Something we often overlook are the foam adhesive sheets. I wanted to pop-up the tea pot, but it was quite fiddly adhering dimensionals to the spout and handle. The foam adhesive sheets are the same size as Stampin’ Up dimensionals which are cut into hexagons but the adhesive sheets have been left uncut. Foam adhesive sheets are sticky on both sides, so you can cut a piece of patterned paper to stick to one side, place your die on top and run it through the die cutting machine as normal. They are especially useful for cutting alphabets or numbers.

This card is quick and simple – a standard card with patterned paper adhered to the card front. A Misty Moonlight strip was dry embossed with the Eyelet 3D embossing folder and adhered to the left. I die cut a circle with the largest of the “dot-dash” border circle from the Spotlight on Nature dies.

The circle was adhered to the card front as pictured, and I trimmed off the excess. From scraps of Pool Party and Petal Pink card, the leaves and flowers were die cut. I stuck some patterned paper on the foam adhesive strip and die cut the tea-pot and lid.

A sentiment was stamped in Misty Moonlight and after arranging and adhering all the elements, I added the Basic Gray and Smoky Slate pearls as a finishing touch.

Inside card

There’s a tiny stamp in the Country Flowers stamp set. It is easy to align photopolymer stamps because they are clear. I used the tiny stamp to create a border at the bottom of the Basic White layer.
