Pre-launch Garden Party

It appears that this will be a permanent fixture in my calendar as it’s lovely to take our crafting time from “inside” to the “outside” and everyone loves our “Pumpkin” which my visitors refer to as a “hobbit house”, “mushroom” and all sorts of other names!

We bought a new gazebo to replace last year’s model and it’s great because one of the sides of the “wall” flaps up to provide shade on hot summer days.  It also means that I can set up the day before so there isn’t any last minute panic on the actual day and it’s sufficiently water tight not to worry should the weather change to wet and windy!

I am so excited about the new catalogue – I say this with every new one, I know – but there are some lovely new project kits like the one pictured above which includes a stampin’ spot, stamps, accessories and punch outs to make these fabulous cards – 20 altogether, 2 each of 10 designs and you can go on creating because you still have the stamps and ink spot long after you’ve sent all the cards off!

Here are some of the ladies pouring over the new catty –  it’s pretty relaxed and when a space becomes available, the next vanguard will have a turn at the Make & Take.

I am so lucky to have a supportive husband who graciously helped me set up and got the BBQ going – it’s a casual affair, so it’s jumbo sized hot dogs with or without onion, salads and drinks on tap and they all help themselves.

They say time flies when you’re having fun – and it did.  We de-camped and I just chucked all my stuff on the dining table before taking a nap as I didn’t get to bed till 3:30 am the night before and was up with the lark to tweak stuff.

Hubby’s gone off to meet his buddies for his weekly “Archery” fix so I’m going to put my feet up and tackle this mountain on Monday!

Thank you everyone for coming, if you’re reading this, and I will  ask hubby to do the raffle draw when he gets back and will email everyone tomorrow!

Happy Sunday!  Enjoy the Bank Holiday weekend!
