Alter Mix & Match cards. This is Wk 4 in my Christmas Series. I’m using the beautiful gold dipped Mix & Match cards & envelopes together with two of the Mix & Match Ephemera packs. The Mix & Match ephemera packs makes creating multiple Christmas cards an absolute joy. These cards are also post friendly. There are 9 cards and envelops in the Gold Dipped Cards & Envelops pack. I’m going to show you how you can alter Mix & Match cards to create 27 cards. Just repeat the process shown below 3 times. Each card will yield 3 cards done this way.
Stretching supplies
- To stretch the supplies further you can cut up the matching envelops to make more cards. Use the Basic White Memories & More Cards & Envelopes in lieu because these cards are larger than normal and measure 6″x 4″ (15.2 cm x 10.2 cm) or simply use Basic White Thick card stock and make your own card bases.
- Each pack has 9 cards, 3 in red, 3 in green and 3 in blue. If you opt for this method, you’ll get 18 cards out of one pack because the cards are printed front and back so you can cut it in half and adhere them to Basic White card bases. If you trim the card down at the opposite end without the gold dip, they can be adhered to a standard card base which will fit into a C6 envelop.
- In addtion, you can cut up the envelops and make another 9 cards from the envelops giving you a total of 27 cards out of one pack.
Red dipped cards and envelop
All the cards used the Joyful Sayings and Joyful Images ephemera packs. I cut all the card bases from Basic White Thick card stock.
- Season’s Greetings and drums on the left
- Poinsettia portrait card in middle
- Altered envelop on the right.
Blue dipped cards and envelop
- Christmas pudding portrait card on the left.
- Skates portrait card in the middle.
- Altered Envelop on the right.
Green dipped cards and envelop
- Christmas trees landscape card on left.
- Sleigh and gold foil lettering card in middle.
- Altered landscape envelop on the right.
