Thank you with Humble Home

Thank you with Humble Home. I made this thank you card way back in August and sent them with a copy of the September-December 2024 Mini catalogue to customers. The front cover of the mini features the Humble Home Bundle, so I wanted to reflect that. A few added extras were used to draw attention to other products in the catalogue and these were the Forever Plaid 3D embossing folder, Peaceful Evergreens Photopolymer stamp set, Real Red & White Adhesive-backed peppermints, Shaded Spruce ½” (1.3 cm) Satin & Sheer ribbon. From the Annual Catalogue, I used the Spotlight on Nature Dies and the Adhesive-backed sparkle gems.

How I made the card

Front of card
  1. Die cut the largest radiating stitches die from the Spotlight on Nature Dies in Poppy Parade.
  2. Emboss it with the new Forever Plaid 3D embossing folder and adhere it to the Basic White Thick standard card base. From the back of the card, trim off overhanging circle to straighten the edge.
  3. Punch the house from Crumb Cake card stock. Tap an embossing buddy over punched house and ink stamp with Versamark. With right side of house face down, carefully place over stamp and rub finger over it.
  4. Sprinkle Wow Basics Embossing Powder (White) over it and heat set. Apply dimensionals on back and adhere to Poppy Parade embossed circle. Remember to leave enough room to adhere the evergreen tree behind.
  5. On scraps of Basic White card stock stamp sentiment in Poppy Parade and the row of evergreen trees from the Peaceful Evergreen photopolymer stamp set in Shaded Spruce.
  6. Trim the sentiment as pictured and adhere with dimensionals as pictured.
  7. Fussy cut two of the trees and adhere to either side of the house.
  8. Tie bow with Shaded Spruce ½” (1.3 cm) Satin & Sheer ribbon and adhere near the bottom left of circle.
  9. Lastly add Adhesive-backed sparkle gems.
Inside card
  1. Cut a Poppy Parade mat layer ⅛” (0.3 cm) larger than the Basic White mat layer. In Europe/UK/Ireland this measures 5 ⅜” x 3 ¾” (13.7 cm x 9.5 cm)
  2. Basic White mat layer measures 5 ¼” x 3 ⅝” (13.3 cm x 8.6 cm)
  3. Ink up brick stamp in Crumb Cake – stamp off before stamping on bottom left of Basic White layer.
  4. On scrap of Basic White, stamp the door and windows in Poppy Parade. Fussy cut the door and windows and adhere to house with wet adhesive.
  5. Stamp the wreath in Tuxedo Black Memento ink. Colour wreath with Stampin’ Blends in Shaded Spruce and Poppy Parade combos.
  6. Fussy cut wreath and adhere with glue on house below roof apex to complete card.
