Thanks – Tech 4 Stampers Blog Hop

Thanks – Tech 4 Stampers Blog hop. The theme for October’s blog hop is “thanks”. There are so many stamps to convey thanks on a card that it was difficult to choose which one to use. We always need thank you cards for all sorts of reasons. It could be giving grateful thanks for an occasion like Thanksgiving, a simple thank you for receiving a gift, thanks for a service given or for an act of kindness.

The Tech 4 Stampers is a monthly subscription group run by Louise Sims. She mentors and enables members to understand IT jargon and equips them with a fountain of Technical knowledge to build or manage their own websites. It takes the mystery out of “tech” and I’ve certainly grown in confidence thanks to her expertise, patience and guidance. Not only that, I’ve met and made new friends with my fellow “Techs” and love the camaraderie within the group.

Double box fold card

I chose this fun double box fold for my thank you card. It’s so easy. to do, and the “aerial” view of the card shows you how it’s all put together.

The picture on the left shows the front of the card upright and the one on the right is flat lay so you can pop it in an envelop for posting. The stamps I used are Textured Florals stamps and dies. They are no longer a bundled item but can be purchased separately. I also used the Sketched Butterflies bundle to stamp my sentiment and die cut the butterflies. These were die cut in Basic White and I used blending brushes to add colour in Boho Blue and Blushing Bride.
