Tag for wine bottle

Tag for wine bottle. At Christmas, I often gift a bottle of wine and it’s always nice to personalise it with a tag which fits over the neck of the wine bottle.

The tags are quick and easy to make. You can use up scraps of DSP as a background. I used the Attention Shoppers bundle which is on page 65 of the current 2024-2025 Annual Catalogue to stamp, colour and decorate the largest Stitched Circle die in the Stylish Shapes die set and also the Christmas Labels bundle.

How to make the bottle tag

1. Cut the tag base : 8 ¼” x 3″ (21 cm x 7.5 cm).
2. On the long side, score at 2 ½” (6.5 cm)
3. Die cut the largest circle from the Stylish Shapes die set in Basic White card stock. Stamp “just for you” in Real Red
4. On a scrap of Basic White stamp the shopping bag and bottle (from Attention Shoppers stamp set) in Tuxedo Black Memento ink.
5. Colour the shopping bag and bottle with Shaded Spruce, Real Red and Lemon Lolly Stampin’ Blend combos and then die cut with corresponding dies from the Attention Shoppers Dies.Arr
6. Stamp Merry Christmas from the Christmas Labels stamp set and die cut with corresponding die.

Assembly

1. Centre and punch hole on the 2 ½” (6.5 cm) section with a 1 ¾” circle punch
2. Cut and adhere Snowy Scenes 12 x 12 DSP : 2 ¾” x 5 ½” (7 cm x 14 cm)
3. Partially adhere Merry Christmas label to circle ensuring the the “just for you” sentiment isn’t obscured.
4. Adhere bag so that it covers up the “to you” portion of the sentiment in the bottom right.
5. Apply mini dimensionals to the bottle and adhere as pictured.

Optional : You can add embellishments if you wish. I didn’t have any on hand so omitted them.
