Tower block fold – Rustic Centrepiece

Tower block fold – Rustic Centrepiece. Rustic Centrepiece is a stand alone cling stamp set and an online exclusive released in July. The images have a pencil sketched look featuring woodsy florals and wood slice images adorned with seasonal decor. This set has images only but you can use sentiments from whatever you have in your stash.

The tower block fold is pretty easy to make and can fold flat to fit in an envelop for posting. The image I used for this card were the sunflowers. I used the succulents image on another card which you can see HERE.

Rustic Centre piece and back of card,
Rustic Centre piece
  1. On a scrap of Basic White, stamp the sunflower vignette in Tuxedo Black Memento ink. Fussy cut this leaving a narrow border all round. Omit colouring it initially because if you make a mistake, you would’ve wasted precious time.
  2. Colour wood slice live edge with Pecan Pie, the top of the slice with Crumb Cake, the urn with Smoky Slate, Sunflowers with Daffodil Delight, leaves with Old Olive and the apples with Real Red and a touch of Daffodil Delight.
  3. Apply dimensionals on the back and adhere to embossed Daffodil Delight mat layer.
Back of card
  1. Cut a Crumb Cake mat layer at 4 ⅛” x 5 ⅝” (10.5 cm x 14.2 cm). Adhere to back of card leaving an even border on all 4 sides.
  2. Basic White layer cut at 4″ x 5 ½” (10.2 cm x 14 cm). Partially stamp Rustic Centrepiece sunflower vignette as pictured. Colour image as in step 2 for the Rustic Centre piece above.
  3. Adhere a remnant of the Timeless Plaid DSP as pictured. Flip card over and trim off any excess. Adhere Basic White layer to Crumb Cake mat layer to complete card.
