Birthday card – sneak peek Happy Place. Happy Place is a new stand alone stamp set in the new September-December 2025 Mini Catalogue. I love the word “HAPPY” in this stamp set because embedded in the letters is a tropical scene.

Cutting guide

1. Card base Coastal Cabana cut at 11 ½” x 4 ⅛” (29 cm x 10.5 cm) and folded in half.
2. Brights 6″x 6″ (15.2 x 15.2 cm) Designer Series Paper cut at 4 ⅛”x 5 ¾” (10.5 cm x 14.5 cm).
3. Two-tone Coastal Cabana cut at 3 ½” x 5 ¾” (9 cm x 14.5 cm). Tear each long side toward you to expose white core. Set aside.
4. Cut Coastal Cabana card stock 2″ x 5 ¾” (5 cm x 14.5 cm).
5. *New – Peaceful Garden 12″x 12″ (30.5 x 30.5 cm) Glimmer Paper – cut 12″ x ¼” strip (accent pieces to be trimmed later.
6. Basic White (inside card) 5 ½”x 3 ⅞” (14 cm x 9.8 cm)

Assembling card

Card front

1. Adhere Brights DSP to card front, then adhere two-tone card stock- darker side face up and equidistant top and bottom.
2. Stamp Happy birthday on Coastal Cabana 2″ x 5 ¾” (5 cm x 14.5 cm) strip. Place on top of two-tone card stock and use a pencil to mark placement as a guide for adhering the glimmer paper.
3. Apply tear n’ tape straddling the pencil lines. Remove backing tape and adhere glimmer paper on top.
4. Staple a length of Misty Moonlight & Silver Edged ribbon to upper left corner of the Happy Birthday stamped layer and then adhere to card front as pictured.
5. Add Hues of Blue flowers in bottom right corner.

Inside card

1. Stamp 2nd generation Coastal Cabana ink with word Happy to left of Basic White layer.
2. Align the word “times” in between the Ps of Happy and stamp in first generation Coastal Cabana ink.
3. Adhere to inside of card leaving and even border on all 4 sides.
