Landscape autumn card – Gathering Moments. Gathering Moments stamps and dies have just been released as an online exclusive in September 2025. The leaf dies are HUGE! There are two patterns, and each virtually covers the whole of a card front.

Each die comes in two parts – one cuts out the whole leaf, and the other cuts out the middle with perforations in it so that you can stitch the lines of the leaf with linen thread.

Today’s card features the large open work die which was embossed with the Gathering Leaves embossing folder.

Cutting guide

1. Card base : Cajun Craze cut at 4 ⅛” x 11 ½” (10.5 cm x 29 cm) and folded in half.
2. Gathering Together 12″x 12″ (30.5 x 30.5 cm) Specialty DSP : cut at 3 ¾” x 5 ⅜” (9.5 cm x 13.7 cm).
3. Basic Beige mat layer card front : 3 ⅞” x 5 ½” (9.8 cm x 14 cm).
4. Inside card : Basic White mat layer 3 ¾” x 5 ⅜” (9.5 cm x 13.7 cm).

Stamping and die cutting

1. Stamp large leaf in Cajun Craze and the smaller leaf in Crushed Curry on Basic White scrap and die cut both with Gathering Moments dies.
2. Scrap of Basic White – stamp greeting in Versamark and emboss with Wow! Metallics embossing powder in copper. Trim label to suit. Use blending brush to add Cajun Craze colour to label.

Assembling card

Card front

1. Adhere DSP centred on card front leaving an even border on all 4 sides.
2. Take the Basic Beige mat layer and die cut the large leaf as pictured. Then place inside Gathering Leaves embossing folder and run it through machine. Use a blending brush to darken the edges of the leaf aperture. Apply dimensionals on the back and adhere on top of DSP leaving an even border on all 4 sides.
3. Arrange and adhere leaves to leaf aperture as shown with glue dots.
4. Apply dimensionals to back of label, tuck into leaves as shown.
5. Tie a double strand of Old Olive linen thread for the bow and attach as shown and add Cajun Craze and gold dots to finish card front.

Inside card

1. Stamp the bottom left corner with the leaf, acorn, plaid, and teeny lines stamp in Cajun Craze and Crushed Curry ink.
2. Adhere to inside of card leaving an even border on all 4 sides.
