Male birthday card

Male birthday card. I used a cling stamp set called One More Year, which at the time of writing was on the Last Chance List.

This was a card I made for my hubby’s birthday, so I knew the sentiments on the card would be taken in good humour and he wouldn’t be offende

Cutting guide

  1. Card base : Misty Moonlight cut at 5 ¾” x 8 ¼” (14.5 cm x 21 cm) and folded in half.
  2. Cut 2 pieces of Basic White card stock – one for card front and the other for inside the card : cut at 3 ⅞” x 5 ½” (9.8 cm x 14 cm)

Assembly

Card front
  1. Stamp dog image in Tuxedo Black Memento ink and colour with Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blends and the hat with Misty Moonlight.
  2. Inks for splatter patterns : Real Red, Misty Moonlight and Daffodil Delight. The lighter shade of red was simply a second generation stamp from Real Red.
  3. Sentiments stamped in Misty Moonlight.
Inside card
  1. Stamp greetings in Misty Moonlight and Daffodil Delight.
  2. Use Tuxedo Black Memento ink to stamp the cake and wine & cheese. Colour cake with Stampin’ Blends in Balmy Blue, Misty Moonlight, Daffodil Delight and Real Red.
  3. For wine and cheese colour with Stampin’ Blends in Granny Apple Green, Old Olive, Pecan Pie, Cherry Cobbler.Old
