Stocking filler – North Pole Delivery

Stocking Filler – North Pole Delivery. I found these Yankee candles and thought they’d make great stocking fillers. It comes in a box of 3, so I separated them to package them as stocking fillers. There was a blue one, and also a pale yellow one but can’t remember what the scents are called.

Box Base and lid

Box Base

1. Flirty Flaming card stock cut at 9″ x 4 ¼” (23 cm x 10.8 cm)
2. Long side on top, score at 2 ⅛”, 4 ¼”, 6 ⅜”, 8 ½” (5.4 cm, 10.8 cm, 16.2 cm, 21.6 ccm)
3. Rotate to short side and score at 2 ⅛” (5.4 cm).
4. Cut on solid lines and remove bottom small rectangle on the right to leave a tab at the top to join sides together.

Lid for Box

1. Cut Crumb Cake piece at 4-3/16″ x 4-3/16″ (10.6 X 10.6 cm)
2. Score all 4 sides at 1″ (2.5 cm)
3. Cut tabs as shown for the lid.

Mat layers Flirty Flamingo and DSP

1. Lid on top : 1 piece 2″ x 2″ (5 cm x 5 cm)
2. Sides of lid : 4 pieces ⅞” x 2″ (2.2 cm x 5 cm)
3. DSP for top of lid : 1 piece 1 ⅞” x 1 ⅞” (4.8 cm x 4.8 cm)
4. Box lid sides DSP : 4 pieces ¾” x 1 ⅞” (1.9 cm x 4.8 cm)

Constructing lid

1. Adhere Mat layers to lid followed by DSP as shown.
2. Next adhere mat layers to the sides of the lid followed by DSP as pictured.

Assembly

1. Fold tab over, remove backing tape and join box base ends.
2. Establish which is the front of the box, leave that flap last.
3. Fold two side flaps first, then the back flap and lastly the flap at the front and adhere to box base.
4. Place lid on top of box, apply adhesive to each flap and glue together to form lid on each corner.

Finishing touches

1. White Fluffy trim – this automatically curls. Cut a length and adhere to lid of box with glue dots.
2. Attach a gold die cut word from Christmas Words Collage Die with dimensionals as pictured.
3. Die cut the small oval label from Snowy Delights dies with Crumb Cake card stock and stamp “From me to you” in Basic Black Tuxedo Black Memento ink.
4. Fussy cut the heart from North Pole Delivery DSP pre cut images on the front of the box.
