Thank you card – Friendly foliage. Hi all – hope you had a lovely Christmas with family and friends. Having unwrapped those lovely gifts it’s time to write those “thank you” cards. We always need them no matter what time of year.

I haven’t had much opportunity to use the November online exclusives so now that the dust is settling what with re-locating, moving lock stock and barrel hundreds of miles from where we spent a happy 26 years, unpacking and restoring some semblance of order I haven’t been anywhere near a craft room. All the posts were scheduled way back in October right up to January 2026! Talk about being prepared but very hard work at the time!

Quick simple thank you card

If you have alot of thank you cards to make, you want something quick and simple. Bearing in mind that it should be post friendly too, so I would keep the layers to a minimum. No, the card isn’t wonky, the front layer was distressed on all 4 sides and adhered at a cheeky angle!

Cutting guide

  1. Card base : Lost Lagoon 5 ¾” x 8 ¼” (14.5 cm x 21 cm) and folded in half.
  2. Cut two pieces of Very Vanilla card stock 3 ⅞” x 5 ½” (9.8 cm x 14 cm).
  3. Stamp one Very Vanilla piece with November’s online exclusive Lasting Linen stamp in Lost Lagoon ink. Distress the edges on all 4 sides with edge of scissors. Then stamp the leaf image from Friendly Foliage in Lost Lagoon ink.
  4. Adhere this piece at a slight angle but keeping within the card front frame of the card base.

Label with Banner Sayings Bundle

  1. Using Lost Lagoon ink, stamp “I can’t thank you enough” from Banner Sayings Bundle which comprises the stamps and a punch. This also an online exclusive released in November.
  2. Punch out the label with the Three Banner Punch, apply dimensionals on the back and adhere beneath stamped image as pictured.

Inside card

  1. Take the remaining piece of Very Vanilla card stock and stamp “sending love” from Friendly Foliage stamp set with Lost Lagoon ink.
  2. Stamp leaves in first generation ink as well as 2nd and 3rd generation.
  3. Adhere to inside of card base.
