Using scraps for Hope, Joy, Love Valentine card. In my previous post which you can see HERE , I had some DSP scraps left over from cutting out the frames for the box lid and a piece of Real Red scrap from cutting the frame for the 3″x 3″ co-ordinating card. It gives me such a buzz to be able to re-purpose the left overs from one card and re-purposing it for another!

The Hope Love & Joy Bundle

This is a Two-Step Stampin’ set; it allows you to layer two or more images to create one final image with extra texture and dimension in the colours you want. This stamp set was inspired by Million Sales Achiever Evie DiPiazza.

The Hope Love & Joy Bundle brings meaning to your paper crafts, whether you’re spreading holiday cheer, supporting a cause, or sharing faith and love. Swap out the “O” in each word with a symbol that fits your message, such as a heart, dove, praying hands, or awareness ribbon. Layer stamped designs with die-cut details to create handmade cards and scrapbook layouts with a purpose.

Cutting guide and Assembly instructions

1. Card base : Basic White Thick card stock cut at 5 ¾” x 8 ¼” (14.5 cm x 21 cm) and folded in half.
2. Adhere one of the left over Love Notes DSP squares measuring 1 ¾” x 1 ¾” leaving an even border at the top and side. Then adhere the remaining Love Notes DSP to the bottom leaving an even border on the side and bottom.
3. Trim the left over Real Red square to 1 ¾” x 1 ¾” and emboss with the January 26 Online Exclusive Lovely Stripes 3 D embossing folder and adhere in the middle in between the to DSP squares.

How to prepare the Love greeting

1. Stamp in Real Red ink “L_VE” on Basic White scrap and fill in the gap with the line heart stamp. Trim the piece so that it measures 1 ¼” x 3  ⅛” (3.2 cm x 8 cm).
2. On a scrap of Basic White, stamp the line heart image again and die cut with coordinating die from Hope Love & Joy dies. Adhere with dimensionals over the stamped line heart.
3. From scraps of Real Red card stock die cut the small red heart and adhere in centre of the raised line heart pictured above.
4. Apply dimensionals to the right side under the V and E letters and adhere as pictured to front of card base.
5. Stamp “you” and “so much” in Real Red ink and cut these at an angle. Adhere with dimensionals as pictured.
6. Place the smaller heart die within the larger open heart die on Real Red card stock scrap. Separate hearts. Apply adhesive to the larger heart and adhere below greeting as pictured and the smaller solid heart above the LOVE sentiment.

Inside card

1. Cut Basic White layer measuring 3 ⅞” x 5 ½” (9.8 cm x 14 cm) and adhere to inside of card.
2. Love Notes DSP : cut a strip ½” x 5 ½” (1.3 cm x 14 cm) and adhere to left side of Basic White layer as pictured to complete card.
