Gift sweet tube for Valentine

Gift sweet tube for Valentine. Today’s project is also using the pack of Love Notes 6″x 6″ (15.2 x 15.2 cm) Designer Series Papers (DSP). One of the sheets in the pack is a cross hatched pattern in blue and I thought it would be perfect for wrapping a tube of Menthos peppermint sweets. This year’s Valentine projects have been made entirely from this pack of Love Notes!

How to wrap the tube

  1. Trim the paper to 5 ½” x 6″ (14 cm x 15.2 cm)
  2. Apply tear n’ tape on the cross hatched side, (the side that you want the pattern showing).
  3. Use bone folder to curl paper in the direction you want to roll paper.
  4. Insert tube of sweets in, remove backing tape and roll as tight as you can so that adhesive will adhere to paper as you roll. Set aside.
  5. In the mean time cut a slot with a craft knife in the middle of the flip flap and thread ribbon through.
  6. Apply tear n’ tape on the reverse side of of pattern paper.
