There has been much excitement and anticipation for Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators as they experience a new event (no longer known as Convention) – OnStage Live from 12-14 November in Brussels. Who would ever have imagined that our joy at the opportunity of a gathering of Stampin’ sisters would be dampened by the horror of the terrorist attack in Paris on Friday night. Our Interim CEO Sara Douglass led a 2 minute silence in support of all those affected by this tragedy and in particular for our French Stampin’ Up! sisters. It goes without saying that I wish everyone a safe passage home wherever that may be in Europe and as far flung places as Canada, the USA and Australia. Whenever Demonstrators get together, we swap ideas usually in the form of a card front using current supplies from current catalogues. As I was making rather a lot, I thought I’d keep the design simple, or so I thought, until it came to assembling all the components together!
I embossed and cut 100 wreaths, 200 itty bitty flowers, 200 butterflies, punched 100 corners…long story short, it took way longer than I expected for it to all come together, so I hope my Stampin’ sisters loved it as much as I did in creating it.
Here are the supplies I used:
