Dreamy Snowflakes – Week 6 Christmas Countdown Series

Dreamy Snowflakes – Week 6 Christmas Countdown Series. This week I’m using the gorgeous Dreamy Snowflakes Hybrid Embossing folder from the September – December 2026 catalogue.

The embossing folder creates deep, detailed snowflake impressions while the coordinating dies cut out intricate snowflakes, giving you beautifully shaped accents and backgrounds. Perfect for card making, scrapbooking, and winter paper crafting, it’s a simple way to create layered projects with frosty, seasonal charm.

Two-tone Pool Party embossed Christmas card

I used two-tone Pool Party card stock because it has a white core. When embossed and sanded, it exposes the white core and highlights the embossed image.

Cutting guide

Card front
  1. Card base cut at 5 ¾” x 8 ¼” (14.5 cm x 21 cm) folded in half.
  2. Pool Party two-tone card front cut at 5 ½” x 3 ⅞” (14 cm x 9.8 cm). Emboss with Dreamy Snowflakes Hybrid embossing folder. Use sanding block to lightly sand it.
  3. Scrap of Basic White – stamp trio of Snowflakes large, medium and small. Die cut.
  4. Apply adhesive sheet to back of scrap of Lost Lagoon, die cut snowflake detail, large, medium small and a pair of smallest and next to smallest snowflakes with Dreamy Snowflakes dies.
  5. Remove backing from adhesive sheet and adhere the die cut details to corresponding large, medium and small snowflakes. Arrange and adhere largest snowflake directly to card front as pictured.
  6. Apply dimensionals to medium and small snowflakes and arrange and adhere as pictured.
  7. Use the larger of the rhinestone basic jewels on the larger snowflakes and the smaller rhinestones on the centre of the snowflakes on the embossed card front.
Inside card

I omitted putting an extra layer inside card to save on card stock because at Christmas you’re making so many cards, it’s good to make savings where you can.

  1. Remove adhesive sheet backing from the smaller snowflakes
  2. Adhere as shown in bottom right corner of card to finish.

I try to keep the Christmas Card designs simple so that it isn’t bulky and is post friendly. Hope you like it!
