White gabled boxes

I’m only demonstrating how to make the Pumpkin box because the same method applies to the other 3 i.e., the skeleton, vampire and Frankenstein.

Cutting guide

First burnish the White Gable box on score lines in both directions so that the folds are crisper. Each box character will require 2 sheets of the same design.

1. Take 2 sheets of the pumpkin design and turn it sideways. Trim off 1 ¼” (3.2 cm) off the top of the DSP. Set aside the remnants for adhering to box sides.
2. Orient each piece in portrait mode and score at 1″ and 5″ (2.5 cm and 12.7 cm). While the box is still flat, adhere one piece to the front, and one piece to the back along the top score line of the white gable box. Trim where necessary on the base along the score lines at the bottom so that the base flaps can fold un-hindered.
3. Adhere side pieces (reverse side of DSP) ensuring they are equidistant from left and right edges. Trim off excess then assemble box.
