Alternative Ephemera and DSP

There is another Harvest Hues Mix & Match Ephemera Pack which has an assortment of autumn-inspired pre-cut images and layering pieces. The colourful stickers include Halloween, autumn flowers, foliage, pumpkins, and will give you more variety to choose from. If you’re using my one sheet wonder template, a suggestion to use the Texture & Tone Mix-In Designer Series Papers are a good option.

Quick simple fall cards

Now to the crux of this post – quick, easy autumnal cards using the Harvest & Holly Mix and Match Specialty Ephemera pack.

I used a 6″ x 6″ One Sheet Wonder template to cut my patterned papers and used a combination of these on my card bases as decorative pieces for the background.

Harvest & Holly Mix and Match Specialty Ephemera pack – This ephemera pack features adhesive-backed pre-cut images and sentiments that span autumn to Christmas, it’s perfect for creating festive cards and gift tags for every celebration. Why not keep a pack on hand for quick, coordinated accents that add colour, personality, and seasonal spirit to your handmade projects.

I only made autumnal cards using Pecan Pie and Cajun Craze card bases. For the Christmas cards, just switch card base colours and use the Christmas stickers instead.

Inside landscape and portrait cards

In lieu of stamping, I used the stickers for the inside of the cards.

One Sheet Wonder template

Cut your patterned paper using this guide.

one sheet wonder template 6 x 6

Card bases

  1. Landscape card bases were cut at 4 ⅛” x 11 ½” (10.5 cm x 29 cm) folded in half.
  2. Portrait card bases were cut at 5 ¾” x 8 ¼” (14.5 cm x 21 cm) folded in half.
  3. Very Vanilla for inside card bases 3 ¾” x 5 ⅜” (9.5 cm x 13.7 cm)

Assembling cards

There is no need for detailed explanations here, just simply use the various pieces in a combination you’re happy with and add a sticker from the ephemera pack that will suit the layout. These cards took me no time at all! For the embellishments, I used the Painted Patch adhesive-backed dots.

Regarding the patterned paper used – again these were scraps I had from various packs which would cut to 6″ x 6″(15.2 x 15.2 cm). I’ve included suggested alternatives like the Harvest Hues Mix & Match Ephemera Pack and Texture & Tone 12 x 12 DSP in the supply list for easy reference.
