Clear Embossing technique

I have used a clear embossing technique today. This means you can stamp in any coloured ink then sprinkle with clear embossing powder and heat set it. The clear embossing will darken and highlight whatever image you stamp and enhances it as well as giving the image added texture.

Incidentally, I’ve reduced the size of the card base this time.

Card front

1. Card base – Soft Sea Foam 5 ¾” x 8″ (14.5 cm x 20 cm) folded in half.
2. Cut Textured & Tone DSP at 4″ x 5 ¾” (10 cm x 14.5 cm). Use a Stamp Positioner tool and stamp in top right corner with Mossy Meadow ink first. Clean stamp, then repeat stamping with Versamark Ink. Sprinkle with Wow! Basics embossing power and heat set. Adhere to front of card base.
3. Soft Sea Foam label – cut at 1 ½” x 2 ¼” (4 cm x 6 cm). Cut flag end on right side. Stamp greeting with Mossy Meadow ink and floral details with Barely Blush ink. Adhere with dimensionals as shown.
4. Add Adhesive-backed Blooms (currently on the Last Chance List) as shown. Also add some Rhinestone Basic jewels as pictured.

Inside card

1. Basic White layer : 3 ¾” x 5 ½” (9.5 cm x 14 cm)
2. Cut DSP strip ½”x 3 ¾” (1.5 cm x 9.5 cm)
3. Stamp a trio of flowers above DSP to the right with Barely Blush ink as pictured.
