Newborn King

Since coming back from Convention, I’ve hardly had time to breathe and so I’ve rather neglected having sufficient projects made up for scheduling any posts!  It’s frightening how quickly 2014 is drawing to a close with Christmas almost upon us even though we’re in November.   I just know that time has a habit of running away!  I had planned on making Halloween stuff in between my Christmas Countdown videos, but Halloween’s been and gone and there was a mad dash to ink up my Halloween stamp sets before it became yesterday’s news!  Although Thanksgiving isn’t widely observed in the UK, just as Halloween isn’t (wink) I am hoping to use the “fall” stamps and framelits before that passes me by too!

So for today’s post, I missed making something “fall”, but it’s one of the cards my ladies made at card club this month using a clear embossing technique – more on that in a video coming up soon.

This card was cased from our In-House magazine, and I’ve changed it up a little purely because adding a button would make it more expensive to post as it won’t be flat enough for our post regulations.  We have so many to post at christmas time, flat is good!

Guy Fawkes was on 5 November, so this weekend there will be lots of Bonfire parties or firework displays so enjoy your weekend! Thanks for stopping by! love from
