These easter egg cups were made by using Stampin’ Up!’s fringe scissors. Originally they had Cadbury Creme Eggs in them but the wrappers didn’t float my boat. I found these pretty polka dot ones at our local garden centre and they were perfect to compliment the Polka Dot Parade DSP.
You can vary the size of your “cup” by how wide you cut your strip of DSP, and also how full you want the cup to be. My strips varied from 2″, 2-1/2″ and 3″ in width by 12″ in length. Attach sticky strip at the bottom of the edge lengthways on both sides on the same bottom edge and just start rolling it on a skewer to start you off. Mine were two strips joined together.
To finish, I cut another narrow strip to cover up the sticky strip. They’re quick and easy to make.
The easter weekend is flying by too quickly! I hope you are enjoying yours. Happy stamping!
