What is a shoe box swap, you might ask – the idea is that a group of people will each make a completed sample card or 3-D item and supply all the materials which includes cardstock, embellishments, ink, dies, markers etc to make that sample in a shoe box. The sample is displayed, and we all make the card or 3D item with the supplies provided in the shoe box. Then by the end of the day, we get to take home lots of different samples!
This was my offering for Amanda’s Fun Day. To my horror, even though I’d checked and double checked that I had everything – I managed to leave a vital stamp behind! The coral one used on the front of the card!
There was a quick re-design – thank you Helen – and we used the shell image to stamp all over the front of the card instead. Just goes to show how many different looks you can create with that stamp set!
The inside was quick and easy too – stamped in Pool Party twice without re-inking the stamp to create two shades of the same image.
